This world, and the enemy of our souls, does a lot to try and make us think less of ourselves. Amid our struggles, pain and heartbreak, it can be easy to fall into the trap of feeling like we’ll never be good enough. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Has anyone ever told you that you are Positively Lovely in the eyes of the Lord? Has anyone ever told you that you are a daughter of the Most High King who loves you, fights for you, sent His only son to die for you, rallies on your behalf and refuses to ever forsake you? If no one has ever told you this, today I want you to know — it’s all true. You are a Positively Lovely daughter of the King.
The creator of the universe longs to be in relationship with you, and there is nothing you could ever do to make Him love you less. Your value is not determined by what you say or do. Your value has been determined by the great I Am, and He calls you His beloved child (John 1:12). A masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). More precious and valuable than jewels (Proverbs 3:15).
I didn’t always believe these truths for my life. I used to think I was positively horrible. But by His grace, God has showed me that I’m not positively horrible or ever too far gone.
If you’ve experienced this in your own life, I’d love to hear your story. Please share your “Positively Lovely” story of how you came to know yourself as a daughter of God below for a chance to be featured on LaurenGaskillinspires.com.
