It’s funny how, with the changing of the seasons, my preference for water changes. In the winter, I hardly put ice in my water and I stick to drinking mostly warm beverages — anything that will help keep the bitter cold at bay. On the other hand, once spring rolls around I’m all about the ice and sparkling water. It just doesn’t get more refreshing than that!
I remember the first time I had a can of sparkling water. Growing up, I wasn’t much of a soda girl, but I always liked the sound of a pop can opening, and the bubbly sensation of carbonation. When I discovered I could have all of the things I liked about pop in a healthier form, I was hooked.
When I found out Dasani was relaunching some flavors at Target this month, I jumped at the opportunity to make a new, summery drink out of the product. The best thing about this launch is that the cases are 3 for $9 (plus there is a separate 5 percent cartwheel offer from 4/10/16-5/1/16.
My favorite thing about this triple berry lemon agua fresca is, although it’s simple and easy to make, it is bursting with flavorful and you can’t help but smile looking at it. (The smiling thing could just be me, but I think berries are absolutely beautiful, don’t you?!) I made these drinks for Mr. MLS and I after our first outdoor bike ride in Iowa. We didn’t make it as far as we wanted to go because the trail was closed for repair, but by the time we got home we were incredibly thirsty. You can bet these drinks hit the spot! Cheers!

I drank seltzer by the can and bottle growing up! I can’t handle the bubbles now with my digestion, but I literally LIVED off of it!
Lauren Gaskill says
Yeah, I know what you mean. I can only have 1 can before it starts affecting my digestion, but a little is OK for me luckily!

Thanks Jules! It’s almost 80 in Iowa today, so this is already coming in handy even though the heat of summer isn’t here. 😛

Wow, this looks so fantastic. I too am crazy about bubbles– especially in the warmer months. It’s supposed to be 95º here this weekend, so I guess it’s officially time.
